Contract Terms
THIS AGREEMENT is made on (date)
AND IS MADE BETWEEN:
ALISON WHITE trading as Alison White … Wedding Flowers of Combe Cottage, Stortford Road, Leaden Roding, Essex, CM6 1RB; and
(Name) of (address) (‘Bride and Groom)
WEDDING DATE:
ENTIRE AGREEMENT: this agreement forms the entire understanding between Alison White…Wedding Flowers and the Bride and Groom. It supersedes all prior agreements between the parties. Changes to this agreement can only be actioned when such changes have been added in writing to this agreement and signed by both parties.
RESERVATION: A signed contract and non-refundable reservation fee of £100 are required to reserve the specified wedding date for services.
SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED: Alison White…Wedding Flowers will provide all such wedding flowers and arrangements as specified in appendix one to this agreement. The flowers will be delivered to the wedding venue or venues specified in the appendix and within reason to one other location (eg Bride’s home) if necessary. To be delivered on the morning of the wedding date specified above; delivery and collection arrangements will also be specified in the appendix to this agreement.
PRE-EVENT CONSULTATION: Prior to signing this agreement the parties will have met to agree the details contained in appendix one to this agreement. The Bride and Groom agree that they have communicated all colour and flower variety and any other preferences prior to signing this agreement.
SUBSITUTIONS: Although the parties will have agreed on specific flowers to be provided please note that flowers are natural items and the availability of the exact shade and head size of flowers cannot be guaranteed. Flowers are also susceptible to seasonal changes and weather conditions and there may arise unforeseen and uncontrollable availability issues prior to the wedding date. Should specific items be unavailable every effort will be made to meet the specifics of appendix one but by signing this agreement the Bride and Groom authorize Alison White to make floral substitutions within a specific colour palette. Such necessary substitutions will be at Alison White’s discretion although every effort will be made to agree such substitutions between the parties beforehand should time allow.
VASE AND STAND HIRE AND SECURITY DEPOSIT: The arrangements to be supplied referred to in appendix one may include the hire of stands and vases which will be specified in the appendix. On delivery of such arrangements a security deposit of £200 is required to be paid to Alison White…Wedding Flowers either by cheque or direct transfer to Alison White. Should any such hired items be missing or damaged at the wedding then full payment to replace these items will be deducted from the security deposit. Should all items be returned safely then the security deposit will be returned within 48 hours of the wedding date.
PHOTOGRAPHS: The Bride and Groom grants Alison White permission to display selected images resulting from this assignment as an example of Alison White…Wedding Flowers work in promotional material including our website and facebook page. Alison White will not use photos of the Bride and Groom without their specific permission. The Bride and Groom also agree to provide permission for their wedding photographer to send Alison White some images of the wedding flowers for promotional use.
PAYMENT: Once the price for the wedding flowers has been agreed between the parties a formal quote will be provided. A non-refundable holding payment of £100 is due on acceptance of the quote. Thereafter payment terms are as follows:

20% payable 6 weeks prior to the wedding date.

Next 80% payable 10 days prior to the wedding date. Fresh flowers need to be ordered 7-9 days prior to your wedding. No orders will be made until this payment has been received. Late payment is not acceptable.

CHANGE OF DATES OR CANCELLATION: Cancellations more than 2 weeks prior to the wedding date will receive a refund on all monies paid other than the non-refundable deposit of £100. The Bride and Groom agrees that for cancellations made after that date no monies given to Alison White…Wedding Flowers shall be refunded. Providing more than 2 weeks’ notice is given there will be no charge for changes to the date of the wedding providing that there is no scheduling conflict.
COMPLAINTS: In the unlikely event of a complaint please let Alison White know as soon as possible so that every effort can be made to rectify the problem. In any event any complaints should be made in writing no more than 21 days after receipt of the flowers.
LIMIT OF LIABILITY: In the unlikely event that Alison White is injured or becomes too ill to provide flowers for the wedding, Alison White…Wedding Flowers will make every effort to secure a replacement florist. If this situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received. Alison White…Wedding Flowers takes the utmost care with respect to transporting and preparing the flowers, however should the flowers be lost, stolen or otherwise destroyed for reasons beyond Alison White…Wedding Flowers’ control responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received. In any event Alison White…Wedding Flowers is a fully insured business and carries public liability insurance up to £1,000,000.
WE AGREE TO THE ABOVE TERMS AND HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THE CONTRACT TOGETHER WITH THE APPENDICES
